About This Site
Jiu's Sharing Station is where I write down what I observe, what I've learned the hard way, and what actually works for me. The core topics are Chinese culture, food, and travel β with an English version specifically for first-time visitors.
Who I Am
I'm Jiu, someone who has been living in China for a long time and has been writing continuously. I'm not an influencer, not a travel blogger β just a person who wants to share what I've actually seen, eaten, and experienced, in a way that readers can use.
What I Write
- Chinese Culture β Everyday language, festivals, and the small details that foreigners don't understand but Chinese people take for granted.
- Food β Not rankings, but real experiences: what I actually ate, what I thought, what I'd go back for.
- Travel β Practical details on trains, subways, accommodation, and language β with real numbers and timeframes.
- Life & Tools β Side hustles, apps, methods β complex things turned into checklists you can actually follow.
How I Write
Three rules I keep: Be specific β every article has numbers, places, and times. Be honest β write about what's good and what's not; don't pile up adjectives. Make it reusable β readers should walk away with something they can actually do, not just feelings.
Writing isn't about how many people read it β it's about turning messy experience into something someone else can use. If it helps even one person, it's worth it.
Monetization & Disclosure
This site earns revenue through Google AdSense and some affiliate links (e.g. Klook, Amazon, Airalo). Any article containing affiliate links is clearly labeled with a disclosure at the top. Ads and affiliate links do not influence my independent judgment β I don't promote anything I wouldn't recommend on my own.
